Starting the next chapter

Matt and I decided this past weekend to move to the San Francisco bay area. It’s where I went to college, and he’s always wanted to move to a more cosmopolitan city, so we’ve started moving forward on that this week. On Monday I notified my boss and we put in our lease termination at our apartment complex.

There are a number of factors that contributed to this, as with every move, but part of it led to throwing a couch away almost immediately. Looking out to see that couch by the dumpster — we bought it back in May for a whopping $25 or so from a thrift store — really drove home our decision.
